Spring in the Whaleback and Porcupine Hills is a spectacular time for wildflowers! Your guide to the world of these little beauties is Kelly Eaton, biologist and author of The Flower Twitcher – A Guide to Canadian Rocky Mountain Flowers. An amazing diversity of wildflowers, wildlife and breathtaking scenery await you. Rejuvenate your spirit with fresh air, exercise, self-reflection and great female camaraderie as you explore this spectacular and unique landscape of SW Alberta.
Aside from it being a truly amazing place to see, this area is ripe with cowboy tradition and the history that shaped Alberta. Learn more as you relax in the evenings in the cowboy atmosphere of an operating cattle ranch. The Lucas Family will be your hosts at the historic LUCASIA RANCH, nestled on 4,000 acres in the rolling Porcupine Hills. |
